Floating donut-shaped tablets from Summit that you drop into standing water to kill mosquito larvae before they can grow into biting adults. Each Dunk slowly releases Bti, a naturally occurring soil bacterium that is toxic to mosquito, black fly, and fungus gnat larvae and harmless to other animals. This is source control for the water itself, not a repellent for your skin or a spray for the air. It targets the places mosquitoes breed, such as rain barrels, birdbaths, clogged gutters, ponds, tree holes, unused pools, and any water you cannot drain or dump. One Dunk treats up to 100 square feet of surface water regardless of depth and keeps working for about 30 days before it needs to be replaced. It does nothing to the water where you do not put it, and it will not stop bites from adult mosquitoes flying in from a neighbor's yard, so it works best alongside emptying the standing water you can.
