The upgraded successor to Flextail's Tiny Repel, still a palm-sized rechargeable emanator aimed at camping and backpacking. A USB-C battery heats a replaceable pad carrying two volatile pyrethroids, prallethrin and meperfluthrin, and the warmed pad releases a vapor meant to hold a repellent zone around you in still air. The S adds a larger battery and a proper camping lantern with several brightness levels, and it markets a wider zone than the original. The repellent hardware is the same set of mats, though, so what you get for mosquitoes is the same close-range vapor bubble in calm air that thins in any breeze, plus a better light and longer runtime. The pesticide pads ship separately and the device carries no EPA registration number.
