It is marketed to cover up to an acre and comes as a cordless, rechargeable unit with an LCD display and smart operating modes. The catch is the cost and the evidence: the up-front price runs close to a thousand dollars, and propane and attractant refills are ongoing, while results build over weeks and vary widely by species and how close breeding sites are. Independent studies land between reduced trap catches at best and no relief from biting at worst, and reliability complaints are common.
