Randomized field trial of passive metofluthrin emanators in 100 treated versus 100 control houses in Mexico.

Key findings

Emanators (replaced every 3 weeks) cut indoor adult Aedes aegypti by 60.2% and reduced landing attempts by 90%, from 12.5 to 1.2 per 10-minute period.

Limitations

Non-contiguous household coverage did not capture community-scale or resistance-selection effects.
