Summary

EPA regulatory reregistration review of Bacillus thuringiensis, including Bti.

Key findings

EPA concluded all Bt uses, including Bti, are eligible for reregistration and pose no unreasonable risk to humans or the environment; Bti is non-toxic to humans, mammals, birds, fish, plants, and most non-target aquatic organisms.

Limitations

Regulatory synthesis rather than a controlled efficacy trial, and general to the Bt group.
