Summary

Single pediatric case report of accidental ingestion of a meperfluthrin liquid.

Key findings

Ingestion produced airway mucosal injury and lung inflammation, a real inhalation and mucosal hazard signal, though at ingestion doses far above any normal emanator exposure.

Limitations

A single uncontrolled ingestion case, not normal-use vapor exposure, with no dose-response.
