Summary

Laboratory fumigation and impregnated-paper bioassays of meperfluthrin against Aedes.

Key findings

Meperfluthrin produced higher knockdown and mortality than natural pyrethrum in both Aedes species, with knockdown notably higher against Ae. albopictus, and a PBO synergist further increased both.

Limitations

Susceptible lab strains and bioassay knockdown rather than a device-emitted human-protection endpoint.
