Summary

Human-subject field trial of the OFF! Clip-On metofluthrin emanator at two Florida sites.

Key findings

The OFF! Clip-On (31.2% metofluthrin) was 70% and 79% effective at repelling Aedes albopictus and Aedes taeniorhynchus from human subjects, giving roughly 70% protection from Ae. albopictus bites for more than 3 hours.

Limitations

Small number of human test subjects over a single-season, two-site window.
