Summary
Semi-field test of consumer pyrethroid aerosols against resistant and susceptible Aedes aegypti.
Key findings
Consumer pyrethroid aerosols killed 99% of susceptible mosquitoes but only about 41 to 50% of resistant field strains, and use selected for kdr resistance alleles in survivors.
Limitations
Indoor aerosol products rather than outdoor yard foggers.
