Summary
Field evaluation of a metofluthrin passive emanator at varying distances indoors and outdoors.
Key findings
Human landing counts fell 89.5% outdoors and 74.6% indoors when the emanator was immediately adjacent to the volunteer, but protection was lost at greater outdoor distances and after about 2.5 weeks of continuous outdoor use.
Limitations
Limited emanator supply prevented replicated testing of longer-range outdoor protection.
